Welcome
portfolio for Kaitie Fox, full stack developer.

As a native Clevelander with a drive for technology, I decided to enroll in We Can Code IT (a twelve week coding bootcamp in Cleveland)
and graduated in December 2017. I have intense hands-on coding experience with several different coding languages:
C# .NET HTML CSS JavaScript.
The crowning achievement at We Can Code IT was the group project, where we had three weeks to complete a totally new web application.
The start of the process was pitches for possible web applications. Of the 20 pitches, 4 were selected. My pitch was one of the four.
From there we were assigned groups and brought the pitch to life in three weeks. It was incredibly rewarding to see the project from
conception to actuality in that short amount of time.
Before deciding to pursue technology, I attended Malone University where I earned my BA with honors in Theological Studies. During college and in the years after I made it a point to travel as much as I could. I feel at home in many different places, countries, and cultures. When I returned to Cleveland in 2016 I started sending down roots. I got involved with local dance studio and reignited my passion for dance. Now, I teach ballroom dance at Viva Dance Studio and coach the Cleveland Dance Konnection performance team. I haven't lost my love for travel, but now I travel to perform with my team at festivals and dance events.
Here are examples of my work in and outside my education at We Can Code IT.

This project highlights all of the skills we acquired at We Can Code IT, and more. From database design, feature conception and creation,
learning the scrum process, user authentication, and web design, our hard work is clearly seen.

Using database-first mvc, this project demonstrates planning and functionality for future adaptations of sorting.
The project required navigation through the pages and use of bootstrap elements and personal styling.
